About the job

This is a developer role for a self-motivated individual with excellent software engineering skills and expertise in Java technologies. Java SSE responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for experience systems and delivering high-availability and performance

  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle

  •  Writing well designed, testable, efficient code

Responsibilities

  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle 

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code 

  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications 

  • Prepare and produce releases of software components 

  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience

  • Java 11, Tomcat/JSP, Spring Boot, REST API, and OAuth Programmer, with experience in:

  • Source Control – Git

  • Build Tool – Gradle

  • Testing – JUnit & Mockito

  • Containers- Vagrant

  • IDE – Intellij IDEA or Eclipse

  • Good to have knowledge of XML, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
